I have sampled a lot of wheat beers and this one is quite different; it is more bitter than I expected, unlike the almost dessert-like wheat beers that I normally drink. This does not mean that I did not enjoy drinking this beer; I do quite like it, but in my mind it is not like a wheat beer at all.
I would describe this beer as a conversation beer—not a beer that sparks a conversation but a beer to drink while having a serious discussion.
