Beer of the Day: Great Lakes Red Leaf

I recently drank a Great Lakes Brewery Oranje Weisse and enjoyed it but for some reason I thought that I had not enjoyed the Red Leaf in the past. As it was the second-last beer in my fridge, I decided to drink it: how bad could it be? Well, I was wrong.

This beer was amazing!

Many beers have won gold medals but did little to excite my taste buds. This beer, however, was incredible; I had to stop myself from drinking it all at once so that I could savour the moment; it certainly merits its gold medal. Well done, Great Lakes Brewery, well done!

I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely purchase some more tomorrow when I make my next visit to the LCBO or, perhaps, the Beer Store now that their supply is no longer limited to the big three.

I recommend drinking this beer after a long day at work, preferably outside on your back porch, if you have one. There should be some good music playing on the radio as you drink it.
